hi there
i am in the apple store on fifth avenue, new york. it is, as they say here, awesome. i'm with candradasa which is an added bonus. have just been to aryaloka for the ordination of viriyagita which went well - very enjoyable. tonight i'll go the sangha night which vajramati has been running here very faithfully for years. i am impressed by how loyal a dharma teacher vajramati is. on thursday nights he has run a meditation / buddhism course for 8 years - and he tells me he has never missed a thursday in all that time, if he has been in nyc.

i have some pictures from my time here in new york and from aryaloka but haven't had time to upload them. will do. i am off to mexico tomorrow and hopefully will have some time there to blog. it has been pretty full on here. i love it!

i also have some picture of maia - shrijnana and bodhipaksa's daughter, with whom i fell totally in love. she is truly gorgeous.

i had some interesting and thought provoking conversations with candradasa on the bus coming down from new hampshire yesterday. need to think a bit more about them. talking around centralisation / cohesion of the order / movement
